  • Lead and manage the maintenance team, providing direction, guidance, and support.

  • Establish and maintain a schedule for routine inspections and maintenance activities.
  • Oversee the maintenance and repair of construction machinery, tools, and equipment.
  • Coordinate with vendors for equipment servicing and repairs.
  • Develop and manage the maintenance budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising safety or quality.
  • Ensure that all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Conduct safety training for maintenance staff and enforce safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with project managers and construction teams to identify maintenance needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenance.
  • Generate reports on equipment performance, maintenance costs, and downtime.
  • Liaise with suppliers and contractors to procure necessary parts and services.
  • Negotiate contracts and ensure vendors meet performance standards.
  • Manage the maintenance of buildings, grounds, and other infrastructure.
  • Coordinate repairs and renovations to maintain a safe and functional working environment.
  • Provide training and professional development opportunities for maintenance staff.
  • Foster a positive work environment and encourage teamwork and collaboration.
  • Implement environmentally friendly practices and ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
  • Explore opportunities for energy efficiency and sustainable maintenance practices.
  • Develop and implement emergency response plans for maintenance-related incidents.
  • Address and resolve equipment breakdowns promptly, minimising downtime.
