Job description:
This role is pivotal in shaping our testing strategies, defining best practices, and implementing robust plans to ensure highest quality standards across the organization. This role will collaborate across all the platforms of the function to help improve the quality in all the business transactions.
The role will work with senior area leaders and CoE Engineering to deliver on complex, enterprise-level initiatives that are a part of the bank's overall strategic direction. They will be required to continually enhance their skills within a number of specialisms.
This role will demonstrate excellent analytical skills, high accuracy, attention to detail, and will contribute to a positive team atmosphere as an active member of the Software Testing division by providing daily support to the test management specialists.
Responsibilities
· Develop and implement comprehensive testing strategies and approaches for functional as well as non-functional testing
· Define best practices, standards for software testing and implement controls to ensure adherence to qualtiy standards
· Drive initiatives to improve software quality, realiability, and performance
· Design and manage production like environments to simulate real-world conditions
· Understand and integrate complex ecosystems and their operating models
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on technology direction and strategy
· Prepare and maintain appplication ecosystem and road-map
· Develop and manage route to live plans, ensuring seamless deployment to production
· Coordinate with infrastructure, environment and automation teams
· Leverage automation tools and frameworks to enhance testing efficiency and monitor and maintain automation scripts and infrastructure
Requirements
· Proven experience in developing and implementing testing strategies, standards, and best practices at an enterprise level organisation
· Strong knowledge on setting up and managing production like environment and application ecosystems.
· Expertise in preparing application ecosystems and technology roadmaps
· Familiarity with route to live plans and deployment processes
· Experience in designing and implementing performance benchmarking methodologies
· Ability to apply diagnostic tools and test case development to drive the isolation of code and design defects
· Knowledge on defect management, config management, data management approaches
· Proficiency in using testing and automation tools and have excellent analytical and decision making skills
· Strong leadership and communication abilities and have the ability to collaborate effectively with cross functional teams
