Responsibilities
- Handle all aspects of workers' compensation litigation and making appearances at the WCAB
- Develop strategies leading to efficient resolution of cases
- Specializes in representing employers, insurance companies, or third-party administrators in workers' compensation cases
- Provide legal counsel and representation to employers, insurance companies, or third-party administrators in workers' compensation cases
- Prepare and file legal documents, including responses to workers' compensation claims, with the appropriate administrative bodies and courts
- Ensure that all required paperwork is accurate, complete, and filed within statutory deadlines
Contract
40 hours per week

- Must have experience in Hearing, Trial, Deposition and mediation
- One year workers' compensation or Insurance Defense experience preferred
- Experience in legal research, draft pleadings and reports

Workers' Compensation Defense Attorney Job Responsibilities
- Must have experience in Hearing, Trial, Deposition and mediation.
- Must meet 180-225 Monthly billable hours.
- Specializes in representing employers, insurance companies, or third-party administrators in workers' compensation cases.
- Negotiation, settlement as well as liens experience.
- Provide legal counsel and representation to employers, insurance companies, or third-party administrators in workers' compensation cases.
- Advise clients on their rights and responsibilities under California's workers' compensation laws.
- Develop strategies leading to efficient resolution of cases

Qualifications
- One year workers' compensation or Insurance Defense experience preferred
- Valid CA Bar License
