Electrician - Testing Engineer | London or the surrounding areas | Full Time | £38,000 - £42,000 with Bonus earnings & overtime available

Niblock Electrical Services Ltd works on Domestic, Commercial, Maintenance, Fire Alarms/Emergency Lighting, social housing, local authorities, school works and EV Charging Contracts, operating with a fleet of Electrical Engineers in London and the South East.

We are currently recruiting for our Domestic EICR and remedial contracts based in and around London and are looking for highly motivated individuals that are able to carrying out testing and inspection to a high standard. You will be able to demonstrate that you have the relevant knowledge to carry out these works to the standard required. We have contracts throughout London & South East.

What will your role as an Electrician look like?

Carrying out EICR’s on domestic properties and associated communal areas.

Carrying out remedial works including but not limited to replacement of consumer units, light fittings, general electrical accessories.

Communal upgrades, lighting, intakes etc.

Full and partial rewires following unsatisfactory EICR’s.

Fault finding on electrical installations.

Continued development and training provided

Requirements:

NVQ Level 3 or equivalent

City and Guilds 2382 (18th Edition Wiring Regulations) or equivalent

City and guilds 2391 or equivalent is desire but not essential (competence will be assessed)

Social Housing / domestic testing experience is desired

Full driving license

An enhanced DBS will be carried out upon appointment
