Job Title: Platform Engineer

Location: Stoke – 5 days a week in the office.

Hours: Mon 9-5.30, Fri 9-4.

Salary up to £80,000 + benefits + bonus.

Security Clearance: Eligible for SC Security Clearance

The Role:

As a Platform Engineer here, you will enable the deployment of on-prem and cloud infrastructure through the design and development of automated solutions.

The work you do will have a direct impact on improving communication services used by the UK Defence industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Improve automation practices to streamline workflows and improve release processes.
• Use Docker and Kubernetes to deploy and scale applications
• Develop CI/CD pipelines and IaC.
• Keep up with industry trends and best practices in automation, DevOps, and cloud technologies

Experience:

• Proficiency in scripting and programming languages.
• Strong skills in configuration management tools like Ansible.
• Experience with cloud platforms.
• Eligible for SC Security Clearance.
