Responsibilities

- Reviews, analyzes and evaluates risks in order to renew existing business or generate new accounts
- Determines appropriate terms and conditions for coverages and rates for program profitability
- Maintain loan relationship with a variety of customers by structuring and discussing recommended best loan plan
- Review loan inquiries and responds to client requests

Job Description

Essential Functions/Responsibilities
Underwrite new/renewal/increased credit facilities to automobile dealerships.
Maintain loan relationship with a variety of customers by structuring and discussing recommended best loan plan.
Monitor department portfolio by having all financials up to date.
Review loan inquiries and responds to client requests.
Write credit memos.
Qualifications

Education
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in Finance, Accounting, Management, Economics or equivalent field.
Work Experience
Financial analysis, structuring, underwriting and portfolio management, 9-12 years.
Commercial Auto underwriting experience.
Skills And Abilities
Hands on, extensive experience with underwriting of commercial auto dealership transactions.
Commitment to excellent customer service – responds promptly to customer needs, professional interacts with customer.
Extensive decision-making and analytical skills to evaluate information, determine risks, and consider the benefits.
Communication skills, responds well to questions and demonstrates comfort with group presentations.
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Outlook.
Detail Oriented.
Categorical understanding of the lending process
Capable of preparing findings reports.
Ability to handle multiple files simultaneously.
Ability to provide leadership in the market by being a positive contributor to the team including: being a mentor to less experienced team members and embracing change.
Takes initiative on projects and assignments, seeks alternate solutions when necessary.

Working Conditions
Frequent Minimal physical effort such as sitting, standing and walking. Occasional moving and lifting equipment and furniture is required to support onsite and offsite meeting setup and teardown. Physically capable of lifting up to fifty pounds, able to bend, kneel, climb ladders.

The base pay range for this position is posted below and represents the annualized salary range. For hourly positions (non-exempt), the annual range is based on a 40-hour work week. The exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications and location.
Salary: $117,000 - $160,000/year
