  • Skills in timely completion of client assessments, progress notes, and treatment plans
  • Represent the counseling center professionally in all interactions and adhere to its mission and values
  • Develop personalized treatment plans based on clients' assessment results and in consultation with clients themselves
  • Encourage clients to engage in self-care practices and wellness activities
  • Be prepared to provide crisis intervention and support to clients in acute distress or during emergencies

As a Marriage and Family Therapist, you will ensure the delivery of evidence-based practices, applying the techniques of Engagement, Assessment, Planning, Implementation, and Evaluation.

SCHEDULE:

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field.
  • Active licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist through the State Board is required.
  • Experience with providing individual and/or couples therapy.
  • Experience working with children and/or adults.
  • Skills in timely completion of client assessments, progress notes, and treatment plans.
  • Proficient writing and communication skills and the ability to learn electronic health record systems.

SALARY:

From $90,000 to $105,000 per year
