Responsibilities
- Creating, drafting, coordinating, implementing and executing plans, amendments, annexes and associated documentation in direct support to space and sensitive programs
- High level of knowledge on a wide breadth of space systems in support of SR implementation in worldwide operations
- Create, sustain, and implement sensitive activity plans for space operations
- Facilitate transition of support to space operations for government client
- Establish and implement processes for requests pertaining to development and its processes to include requests for mechanisms, requests for sponsorship and systems support
- Provide the client with space systems expertise and current working knowledge of SpOC organization and processes
- Assist the government in creating mechanisms as detailed
Contract

The Role: Senior Space Operations & Sensitive Activities Technician
The Location: Colorado Springs, CO
DLS Engineering is seeking qualified candidates to fill an immediate need for a Senior Space Operations & Sensitive Activities Technician supporting the U.S. Space Force in Colorado Springs, CO. The likely salary range for this position is $120,000 - $130,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
A Day In The Life
- Provide the client with space systems expertise and current working knowledge of SpOC organization and processes.
- Create, sustain, and implement sensitive activity plans for space operations
- Identify, establish, and maintain liaison contacts and communications within Service and DoD Program channels for formal and informal coordination to effectively leverage and expedite support to the development, staffing, activation, execution, and termination of plans as well as other required actions and communications
- Facilitate transition of support to space operations for government client
- Creating, drafting, coordinating, implementing and executing plans, amendments, annexes and associated documentation in direct support to space and sensitive programs
- Establish and implement processes for requests pertaining to development and its processes to include requests for mechanisms, requests for sponsorship and systems support
- Create annexes to plans as mission requirements evolve
- Assist the government in creating mechanisms as detailed.

- High level of knowledge on a wide breadth of space systems in support of SR implementation in worldwide operations.
- 3+ years of DoD Sensitive Activities experience required
- 10 years of experience required
- BA/BS degree desired or additional 5 years experience required
- FOSS or equivalent (ATC/APC/DD) required
- Top Secret w/SCI required
- Ability to be read onto SAP programs required
- Must be able pass a government background check.
- Must be a US Citizen.
