Responsibilities

  • Responsible for preparing contingency plans, procedures and policies as directed by the line manager
  • Responsible for the maintenance and review if existing plans, procedures and policies are accurate and up to date
  • Monitor service agreements/ third party contracts, as appropriate
  • Design and develop training materials related to business continuity management
  • Work with business teams under BCMS scope to further strengthen BCM framework and help business partners identify, availability, risk and manage mitigation to an acceptable level
  • Provide 24x7 on‐call support for any emergency, which may require activation of all or part of the Business Continuity Plans

Role : Senior Officer, Business Continuity & Resilience

Location : Abu Dhabi

Role Purpose:

Reporting to Crisis, Continuity & Resilience Head the role will be responsible to be the interface for the BCM Department in managing business and departmental aspects as part of the bank-wide implementation and continual improvement of the BCMS. The role will also manage the implementation and day-to-day functions related to BCM lifecycle to ensure effective and efficient contingency measures are in place.

Key Accountabilities of the role

  • Responsible for preparing contingency plans, procedures and policies as directed by the line manager
  • Responsible for the maintenance and review if existing plans, procedures and policies are accurate and up to date
  • Monitor service agreements/ third party contracts, as appropriate
  • Design and develop training materials related to business continuity management

Specialist Skills / Technical Knowledge Required for this role:
