Responsibilities

  • You will be supporting the Manager in the definition & delivery of specific Air Procurement automation projects, involving cross-functional working, to achieve the agreed project outcomes and realisation of quantified benefits
  • You are responsible for leading the measurement, reporting and forecasting of Air Procurement automation performance
  • You are going to lead the Identification and promotion of opportunities for improvement, through process simplification and standardisation, introduction of new capability, and/or expansion of existing solutions and practices
  • You will also lead the Provision of the teams support to the Air Procurement Strategic Delivery Unit (including Kingdom of Saudi Arabia) in terms of user communication and training on existing and new capabilities, ensuring it is satisfactory and appropriate at all times
  • You are also going to support the Procurement Manager in engagement at Group Procurement level on any related Technology activities

Contract

40 hours per week

  • Working understanding of Source to Pay processes and tool sets and IT such as ERP systems including Infor LN and experience in procurement

What you'll be doing:

Your skills and experiences:

Essential:

  • Working understanding of Source to Pay processes and tool sets and IT such as ERP systems including Infor LN and experience in procurement
  • Previous experience of working on and leading elements of Change/ Transformation projects.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, fostering close & trusting relationships with all stakeholders including senior management
  • A Continuous Improvement mind-set with proven examples of identifying new ideas that drive improvement, problem solving and working collaboratively with others to identify a solution ideally within a Procurement (or similar) environment
  • Ability to compile data, analyse and propose recommendations through reports and presentations

Desirable:

  • You will have, or be working towards MCIPS OR have a similar professional qualification OR hold a degree in a STEM or a business related subject (e.g. Economics, Business, Finance)

Join our dynamic Procurement Technology team, where innovation meets efficiency in transforming the procurement landscape. As a central part of the Air Procurement function, this team is at the forefront of deploying and embedding cutting-edge digital and technology capabilities.

They collaborate closely with various Procurement Strategic Delivery Units and cross-functional stakeholders to drive continuous improvement, explore new solutions, and lead impactful projects that enhance the overall procurement process. This team is dedicated to pushing the boundaries of what's possible in procurement technology.

There will also be the opportunity to travel to Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the chance to advance your career within the broader team.
