Responsibilities

  • Intelligence & Security (I&S), based in McLean, Virginia, designs and delivers advanced defense, intelligence, and security solutions that support the important missions of our customers
  • Supports multiple partner and Foreign Military Sales courseware development and sustainment as required
  • Actively participates in the in the Problem Trouble Report
  • Writes and reviews PTRs for validity and integration within the Instructional Strategy
  • Works closely with Military Instructors, Contractor Instructors, and other Subject Matter Experts
  • Works closely with Military Instructors, Contractor Instructors, and other Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to ensure the sustainment and updates of courseware and syllabi are technically accurate
  • Develops new courseware as required when new capabilities are released from the Air Vehicle Systems authority
  • Actively participates in the in the Problem Trouble Report (PTR) process to keep products current
  • Serves as technical authority and Subject Matter Expert in curriculum and courseware development
  • Collaborates with Instructional Systems Designers to ensure Instructional Strategy is met

Contract

Job Description

Specific duties include but are not limited to:

-Serves as technical authority and Subject Matter Expert in curriculum and courseware development. Candidate will be working within a state of the art Training Center in support of the F-35 Training System Enterprise Program. The courseware consists of self-paced and instructor-led content, developed with a Learning Content Management System (LCMS). The position will involve development, documentation, and maintenance processes and procedures.

-Works closely with other companies within the Instructional Product Support Team for development and quality analysis of courseware lessons, curriculum and other associated instructional products in support of the F-35 Training System.

-Collaborates with Instructional Systems Designers to ensure Instructional Strategy is met.

-Actively participates in the in the Problem Trouble Report (PTR) process to keep products current. Writes and reviews PTRs for validity and integration within the Instructional Strategy. Works closely with Military Instructors, Contractor Instructors, and other Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to ensure the sustainment and updates of courseware and syllabi are technically accurate. Develops new courseware as required when new capabilities are released from the Air Vehicle Systems authority. Supports multiple partner and Foreign Military Sales courseware development and sustainment as required.

-Advises and assists the Maintenance Training Lead on sustainment of the Pilot Flight Equipment Lab, including maintaining an accurate Bill of Materials.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

-Associates degree or equivalent

-Knowledge of aircrew safety technology

-Experience with Quality Assurance of pilot flight equipment

-Experience with assembly and maintenance of pilot flight equipment

-Familiar with Pilot Fit Facility processes and procedures

-Experience with pilot flight equipment training

-Strong computer and writing skills

-Must be able to read and interpret military, aircraft, and engineering technical documents and drawings

-Must be able to obtain a SECRET clearance

-Familiar with development of training products, ADDIE, and instructional design

-Adept at customer service and working in a professional environment

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

-Experience with F-35 pilot flight equipment

-Familiarity with Joint Strike Fighter program

-Experience with Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS)

-Knowledge of International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)

-Knowledge of training delivery and Instructional System Design (ISD)

-Experience collecting, compiling, analyzing and synthesizing learner/customer feedback

-Familiarity with F-35 Joint-service Technical Data (JTD)

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $75510 - $128340

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
