Responsibilities

  • Intelligence & Security (I&S), based in McLean, Virginia, designs and delivers advanced defense, intelligence, and security solutions that support the important missions of our customers
  • Serve as part of a network engineering team to deliver Transport services in support of a large IT infrastructure project
  • Continuous Integration, test automation on iterative development projects

40 hours per week

  • We are looking for experienced Network Engineers to join our technology-based program supporting a key government customer
  • Cloud Service Provider and hybrid cloud experience
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degrees are preferred with a minimum of eleven
  • Expert level experience with network routing protocols such as, OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, and ISIS
  • Ability to develop and negotiate IP peering agreements between service providers
  • Deep understanding of modern Service Provider architecture solutions
  • Broad understanding of technical principles, theories, and concepts in the networking field
  • Prior routing experience working with other Intelligence Community partners
  • Experience with a wide variety of network technologies and architectures
  • Experience with multiple router operating systems to include IOS-XE, IOS-XR, and JUNOS
  • Ability to develop and engineer a Service Provider network that will integrate with other service providers
  • Ability to translate customer requirements into enterprise/service provider network solutions
  • Ability to design and implement Service Provider core and edge technologies
  • Prior experience working in service provider networks

We are looking for experienced Network Engineers to join our technology-based program supporting a key government customer.

ABC

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degrees are preferred with a minimum of eleven (11) year's relevant experience with the following skillsets:
  • Serve as part of a network engineering team to deliver Transport services in support of a large IT infrastructure project
  • MPLS/BGP transport network design and engineering
  • Must be a self-starter that can lead Service Provider Architecture solutions and guide junior network engineers
  • Ability to design and implement Service Provider core and edge technologies
  • Expert level experience with network routing protocols such as, OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, and ISIS
  • Deep understanding of modern Service Provider architecture solutions
  • Ability to translate customer requirements into enterprise/service provider network solutions
  • Ability to develop and engineer a Service Provider network that will integrate with other service providers
  • Ability to develop and negotiate IP peering agreements between service providers
  • Ability to perform upgrades and routine network operations/maintenance at Tier 4 support level
  • Experience with multiple router operating systems to include IOS-XE, IOS-XR, and JUNOS
  • Experience with multi-vendor solutions (Cisco, Juniper, etc.)

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Experience with a wide variety of network technologies and architectures
  • Prior routing experience working with other Intelligence Community partners
  • Prior experience working in service provider networks
  • Broad understanding of technical principles, theories, and concepts in the networking field
  • Knowledge of state-of-the-art systems engineering principles and network design concepts
  • Cloud Service Provider and hybrid cloud experience (extending on-premise networks to cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, Oracle, and Google)
  • Continuous Integration, test automation on iterative development projects
  • Prior experience with Network Automation (Cisco, NSO, Ansible, Python)

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $140690 - $239140

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
