Responsibilities

  • Intelligence & Security (I&S), based in McLean, Virginia, designs and delivers advanced defense, intelligence, and security solutions that support the important missions of our customers
  • This could include the proper use of Personnel Protective Equipment
  • This could include the proper use of Personnel Protective Equipment (PPE) and other forms of safety instruments

Contract

40 hours per week

Job Description

This position is for a SCA Material Coordinator working in the Air Traffic Control Division (ATC). The selected candidate will be assisting multiple projects which will require extensive procurement and supply oriented support. The selected candidate must be a self-motivated individual with experience in purchase planning, supplier research and selection, value analysis, various financing evaluations, supply practices, and extensive data entry skills. The selected individual will be working with government customers, BAE Systems employees, and other contractors. Excellent customer service and responsiveness are of highest importance.

Responsibilities will include the coordination of material movements and the proper care of government and BAE Systems material. Duties for this position will include physical exertion such as lifting (no more than 40lbs), stooping, standing, bending, squatting, reaching, and climbing ladders. Hazardous materials are part of the work environment. The selected candidate will be required to adhere to the BAE Systems Safety rules and regulations. This could include the proper use of Personnel Protective Equipment (PPE) and other forms of safety instruments.

This position is located in scenic and historic Southern Maryland in the St. Mary's County Technology Corridor adjacent to the Patuxent River Naval Air Station. There is no monetary relocation assistance budgeted for this position. Applicants must be currently residing in or state willingness to relocate self to St. Mary's County, Maryland or surrounding areas.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 2 years of experience in supply support

Ability to pass background check to gain access to US Navy installations and other customer sites

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

Experience in Costpoint or other procurement database

Experience Navy ERP

Experience in DataFlex

Familiar with IMMS / LIMS

Experience in financial tracking

Supply oriented background

Pay Information

This position is covered by a wage law called the McNamara-O'Hara Service Contract Act (SCA). The wage range for this position is determined by the Wage and Hour Division of the Department of Labor on a contract-by-contract basis.
