We’re representing an energetic Design Studio who are seeking a Junior Interior Designer to join their F&B / Hospitality team in London. This twelve-month contract offers the potential for extension or conversion to a permanent role. Job Description For This Junior Interior Designer Role

  • Contribute creatively to various project aspects, emphasizing exceptional design.
  • Assist in developing mood boards and 2D/3D design presentations for tender proposals.
  • Manage sample ordering and compile finishes boards.
  • Participate in site surveys and client meetings as required.
  • Produce working drawings (AutoCAD plans, elevations, joinery details) and specifications (finishes and furniture) with team support.
  • Handle diverse workload across multiple projects to meet client deadlines and expectations.
  • Collaborate with the project team and report to the Design Director.
  • This role would be for someone legally eligible to work in the UK

Skills Necessary for this Junior Interior Designer Role

  • A positive and optimistic attitude with a true passion for innovative design.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture.
  • 2 years of experience in F&B / Hospitality projects is desired.
  • Understanding of FF&E sourcing.
  • Strong communication and presentation abilities.
  • Proficient conceptualization and freehand drawing skills.
  • Demonstrated self-management and proactive attitude.
  • Basic understanding of project processes from concept to site implementation.
  • Familiarity with Building regulations, British Standards, and relevant statutory legislation is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD.
  • Knowledge of Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator.
  • Basic 3D skills using SketchUp.
  • Must be legally eligible to work in the UK.
