Responsibilities

Contract

Candidate requirements
- Must be flexible and happy to travel extensively
- Strong knowledge of process safety management systems
- Well-grounded understanding of Pressure Systems Safety Regulations
- Background in Process Safety or alternatively experience working in Anaerobic Digestion
- Minimum of Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent in process safety
- Background in Process Safety or alternatively experience working in Anaerobic Digestion (AD) / Water Treatment / Chemical or Energy plants would be beneficial
- Well-grounded understanding of Pressure Systems Safety Regulations (PSSR), Control of Major Accident Hazards (COMAH) regulations and Dangerous Substances and Explosive Atmospheres Regulations (DSEAR

The Successful Applicant
A successful Process Safety Engineer should have:
- Minimum of Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent in process safety
- Certification: Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Occupational Health and Safety Technologist (OHST), Associate Safety Professional (ASP). Other relevant process safety certification
- Strong knowledge of process safety management systems
- Well-grounded understanding of Pressure Systems Safety Regulations (PSSR), Control of Major Accident Hazards (COMAH) regulations and Dangerous Substances and Explosive Atmospheres Regulations (DSEAR).
- Background in Process Safety or alternatively experience working in Anaerobic Digestion (AD) / Water Treatment / Chemical or Energy plants would be beneficial
- Full UK car driving licence.
- Must be flexible and happy to travel extensively.
