Contract

Candidate requirements

  • Must be flexible and happy to travel extensively
  • Strong knowledge of process safety management systems
  • Well-grounded understanding of Pressure Systems Safety Regulations
  • Background in Process Safety or alternatively experience working in Anaerobic Digestion
  • Minimum of Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent in process safety
  • Background in Process Safety or alternatively experience working in Anaerobic Digestion (AD) / Water Treatment / Chemical or Energy plants would be beneficial
  • Well-grounded understanding of Pressure Systems Safety Regulations (PSSR), Control of Major Accident Hazards (COMAH) regulations and Dangerous Substances and Explosive Atmospheres Regulations (DSEAR

The Successful Applicant

A successful Process Safety Engineer should have:

  • Minimum of Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent in process safety
  • Certification: Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Occupational Health and Safety Technologist (OHST), Associate Safety Professional (ASP). Other relevant process safety certification
  • Strong knowledge of process safety management systems
  • Well-grounded understanding of Pressure Systems Safety Regulations (PSSR), Control of Major Accident Hazards (COMAH) regulations and Dangerous Substances and Explosive Atmospheres Regulations (DSEAR).
  • Background in Process Safety or alternatively experience working in Anaerobic Digestion (AD) / Water Treatment / Chemical or Energy plants would be beneficial
  • Full UK car driving licence.
  • Must be flexible and happy to travel extensively.
