  • Translate global procurement strategy into the sourcing execution.

We are seeking a talented and driven Technology Procurement Category Manager to join our high-performing team. In this role, you will be instrumental in shaping and executing our technology procurement strategy, partnering with stakeholders across the organisation to deliver impactful results across Deloitte's high value technology category.

Key Responsibilities:

You must possess strong commercial and communication skills, and excellent relationship engagement and management capabilities in order to manage client expectations and challenging supplier interactions. You will also be responsible for ensuring that related sourcing activities are performed efficiently, effectively, and results are in line with business plans and operating budgets.

  • Proven Expertise: Substantial experience in technology procurement, demonstrating a deep understanding of software, hardware, IT services, and emerging technologies.
  • Strategic Acumen: A track record of developing and executing successful category strategies, leading complex sourcing events.
  • Intuitive commercial skill set and strong inter-personal and presentation skills.
  • Bachelor or master (or equivalent) degree (preferably one with a commercial or financial basis, or equivalent).
  • Proven relevant working experience, preferably in the field of NPR related purchase activities and/or professional services or equivalent.
  • Well-developed Microsoft Office knowledge and skills, principally Word, PowerPoint and Excel.

We are subject to a number of audit regulations, one of which requires that certain colleagues abide by specific personal independence constraints (e.g., in relation to any financial interests and employment relationships). This can mean that you and your "Immediate Family Members" are not permitted to hold certain financial interests (shares, funds, bonds etc.) with audit clients of the firm, and also prohibitions on certain employment relationships (e.g., you are not permitted to hold a secondary employment role with SEC audit clients of the firm whilst being employed by the firm).
