Responsibilities

  • Review, action, and resolve material exception messages in advance of production impact
  • Plan and execute production schedules to ensure a controlled flow of conforming material to meet delivery requirement
  • Through use of Material Requirements Planning
  • Plan, schedule and manage the efficient movement of material from receiving or the warehouse to production
  • May negotiate lead times with suppliers and manage schedule to ensure on-time delivery
  • Track material shortages for job orders, kitting, sub-assemblies based on requirements
  • Establish, monitor, and verify Oracle ASCP system parameters, including buffers, inventory levels by performing audits of line side material

Contract

40 hours per week

  • Ability to compute, analyze and interpret complex numerical and/or statistical data for forecasting or reporting purposes

As a Material Planner II you will;

  • Plan, schedule and manage the efficient movement of material from receiving or the warehouse to production. Through use of Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems, develop raw material and scheduling requirements from engineering specifications and production schedules to plan and manage material movement with purchasing, warehouse, and production.
  • While adopting the BAE CMS One Team philosophy, you will interface with internal customers and collaborate cross functionally to drive problem resolution and process changes to improve material on time delivery to the floor.
  • May negotiate lead times with suppliers and manage schedule to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Track material shortages for job orders, kitting, sub-assemblies based on requirements
  • Plan and execute production schedules to ensure a controlled flow of conforming material to meet delivery requirement
  • Balance current and future production plans with manufacturing and program to ensure completion of customer requirements
  • Establish, monitor, and verify Oracle ASCP system parameters, including buffers, inventory levels by performing audits of line side material
  • Review, action, and resolve material exception messages in advance of production impact

This position has a 4/10 scheduled where you will work Mon-Thurs.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree and 2+ years' work experience or equivalent experience
  • ASCP experience
  • Detailed analytical skills
  • Ability to understand complex problems and to collaborate and explore alternative solutions; ability to understand opposing points of view on complex issues and to negotiate and integrate different viewpoints
  • Proven MRP experience & utilization (supply/demand planning for manufacturing)
  • Strong multi organization/location planning, time management, multitasking and organization skills
  • Able to represent organization as a prime contact on assigned program(s) and projects
  • Ability to independently exercise discretion and independent judgment while complying with policies, procedures, appropriate principles, and applicable MMAS regulations and protocol
  • Sound interpersonal skills used when interfacing interpersonally and in group settings, coordinating and collaborating with peers, stakeholders and internal customers
  • Ability to operate a computer and discern and assess charts, graphs, reports and/or other forms of written or graphical communication with a proficiency in use of Microsoft tools (Word, Excel, and Access)
  • Ability to develop and maintain professional and effective relationships with internal and external customers
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work schedules on both a short-term & long-term basis, both for self and others.
  • Ability to compute, analyze and interpret complex numerical and/or statistical data for forecasting or reporting purposes.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

  • APICS or CPIM certification
  • Lean Process Improvement Exposure
  • Proven Analytical skills with use of Power BI, Power Pivot, Excel
  • Oracle ASCP experience

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $50940 - $86580

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
