Our client is an organization in the Milwaukee area looking for an Accountant. This company is looking for someone with 2+ years of related experience, strong organizational and communication skills. The salary range for this job is $60k-70k.


The Accountant will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets and cash flow statements.
  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
  • Maintain and obtain current program documentation needed for operations.
  • Monitor financial results compared to budget and communicate those results.
  • Analysis and forecasting of current financial position.
  • Ongoing review of financial transactions that include invoices, travel reports, PTO activity, etc.
  • Transactional review and approval of vouchers, stipends, emergency assistance payments request.
  • Responsible for petty cash processing.
  • Serve as a backup role for accounts payable vendors and setup functions.
  • Ad hoc projects as needed.


The Accountant will possess the following:


EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Associate degree in accounting or related field preferred
  • 2+ years of related experience.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
