Responsibilities

  • Intelligence & Security (I&S), based in McLean, Virginia, designs and delivers advanced defense, intelligence, and security solutions that support the important missions of our customers
  • Conducting additional operations support functions to include conducting research, preparing statistical reports and charts, as well as managing and tracking information requests
  • Participating in executive-level projects and analyze, assess, and develop future strategy and guidance governing Army OSINT operations

Contract

40 hours per week

Job Description

BAE Systems is seeking an experienced Operations Officer to support our government customer's operational requirements in a challenging, dynamic setting. Successful candidates will work well in team environments and will be capable of operating independently with minimal supervision. Candidates will be expected to effectively interact with customer personnel at all levels within the customer organization. In this role, an individual will be responsible for:

  • Participating in executive-level projects and analyze, assess, and develop future strategy and guidance governing Army OSINT operations.
  • Conducting research, analysis, and coordination of strategy, policy, and doctrine at the IC, DoD, Service, and Command levels.
  • Conducting research to support and provide strategic and conceptual guidance to IC leaders.
  • Coordinating with external agencies and offices, Joint Commands, Intelligence Community partners, and Industry in the planning for and execution of external engagement, including appointments, meetings, conferences, speaking engagements, visits, and off-sites, and preparation of agendas or itineraries
  • Conducting additional operations support functions to include conducting research, preparing statistical reports and charts, as well as managing and tracking information requests.
  • Providing executive-level functional support to include providing input to graphic and visual products for presentation to senior executives, as well as editing and coordinating the final drafting of documents and graphic presentations, including briefings, handbooks, reports, slides, forms, and correspondence

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

  • 3+years of demonstrated experience in an operations role w/Bachelor's degree
  • Experience engaging with and/or briefing senior leaders and executive level personnel
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Knowledge of MS Office tools including strong knowledge of MS Word and MS PowerPoint
  • Demonstrated ability to resolve complex issues and utilize critical thinking skills
  • Ability to plan and prepare for interactions with researchers and policy makers
  • Prior military or government experience
  • ​Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Must have ability to work in fast paced environment

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $126610 - $215270

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
