Responsibilities

  • Conduct risk and ergonomic assessments and recommend improvements
  • Monitor site performance through inspections/audits and partners with leadership and other functions on appropriate action and follow-up
  • Develop solutions to complex problems that require the regular use of ingenuity and innovation
  • Develop site SHE data and performance metrics, including online management systems and presentations to leadership
  • Participate and/or chair committees in support of the overall SHE Management System
  • Technical competence in Safety, Health and Environmental Regulations
  • Provide support to leadership as they encourage an inclusive environment that promotes safe behaviors and an overall positive culture
  • Provide hands on SHE support at the site, including evaluating risk, responding and addressing SHE concerns, and supporting leadership with continuous improvement activities
  • Execute training, awareness and communication programs to provide employees with the information and skills needed for them to perform their roles and responsibilities
  • Lead and participate in incident investigations including determination of root cause and corrective action plan
  • Oversee and execute the Industrial Hygiene Program, including monitoring, analyzing results, and ensuring proper controls and awareness

Contract

40 hours per week

Job Description

Provide hands on SHE support at the site, including evaluating risk, responding and addressing SHE concerns, and supporting leadership with continuous improvement activities.

Develop solutions to complex problems that require the regular use of ingenuity and innovation.

Plan and implement procedures and programs in support of the SHE Management system and ensures conformance to internal company requirements as well as ISO14001 and ISO45001 standards.

Ensure compliance to applicable regulations and requirements, included but not limited to, OSHA, EPA, DOT and New Hampshire regulatory agencies.

Monitor site performance through inspections/audits and partners with leadership and other functions on appropriate action and follow-up.

Lead and participate in incident investigations including determination of root cause and corrective action plan.

Participate and/or chair committees in support of the overall SHE Management System.

Develop site SHE data and performance metrics, including online management systems and presentations to leadership.

Execute training, awareness and communication programs to provide employees with the information and skills needed for them to perform their roles and responsibilities.

Provide support to leadership as they encourage an inclusive environment that promotes safe behaviors and an overall positive culture.

Oversee and execute the Industrial Hygiene Program, including monitoring, analyzing results, and ensuring proper controls and awareness.

Oversee the Waste Management Program, including training, DOT paperwork and inspections.

Strong interpersonal skills, with ability to operate and interact with all levels within an organization (from executives to staff).

Technical competence in Safety, Health and Environmental Regulations.

Team player and able to build and maintain relationships both internal and external.

Because this role involves a combination of independent and collaborative work, this position can be conducted 100% remotely.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of relevant experience in Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE), or the overall equivalent experience.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and deliver work products on time and on/under budget
  • Highly effective interpersonal skills, with the ability to operate and interact with all levels within an organization (from senior executives to hourly staff) and build positive working relationships
  • Well versed in SHE regulations, ISO14001, ISO45001 and VPP Programs

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

  • 4+ year(s) experience in Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE), with experience in EPA/OSHA compliance and ISO 14001/45001 conformance.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with ability to operate and interact with all levels within an organization (from executives to staff).

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $92290 - $156860

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
