  • We're recruiting for a PMO Specialist to join our Finance Transformation team at Vodafone UK.
  • The Finance Transformation Team is responsible for the management and delivery of significant programmes of change. The PMO Specialist is a critical role, providing the governance and infrastructure to ensure that we operate in a consistent, repeatable, and standardised way. It will ensure adherence to reporting and financial calendars, maintain the validity of information, and track the status of Projects and Programmes to meet time, cost, and quality targets.
  • Support the PMO & Demand Manager with the running of the Finance PMO; providing the support and collateral that is required for the seamless execution of projects and programmes.
  • Work closely with the wider Finance departments, Consumer and Business entities, Technology, and other supporting functions to ensure the right level of engagement with Finance and provide regular and ad-hoc reporting to stakeholders up to and including director level.
  • Support the evolution of Finance Portfolio Support processes and tooling, enabling better control, quality & insight. Some of these may include, but will not be limited to; Budget Trackers, Office 365 (Excel, SharePoint, Teams, Flow, Forms), PlanView, IRIS, Project Online and ADO.
  • Identify and drive forward opportunities for process improvement.

Contract

37.5 hours per week

What you'll do

Who you are



  • Proven background in business administration, ideally with a sound understanding of project management and PMO processes.

  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with an aptitude for quickly building relationships both within the immediate team and throughout Vodafone.

  • Fully competent in the use of Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.)
