Responsibilities

  • Travel to customer sites in the DMV and around the US to install and configure end-user equipment and routing, switching, and security hardware.
  • Maintain the baseline “gold images” for all system hardware.
  • Perform repairs, operational testing, periodic and preventative maintenance.
  • Provide Tier 2 incident response remotely or on-site, as required.
  • Maintain up to date asset management of all program equipment and conduct inventories, as required.
  • Ensure equipment spares are functional, configured, and available for immediate deployment when required.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge articles and SOPs.
  • Develop and maintain site access standard operating procedures that include points of contact and access procedures.

Contract

40 hours per week

Job Description

In this position, the selected Field Services Engineer will be responsible for installation, configuration, and maintenance of the delivered hardware for a cloud-based solution at all customer sites where the solution is deployed. The hardware included in this system includes thin clients, network switches, and network routers.

Responsibilities will include:

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

  • 5 years' experience supporting enterprise IT systems in a similar role.
  • DoD 8140.01 IAT/IAM level 2 cert
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and diagnose software issues, including operating system and application problems.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work alone and in a team setting.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Familiarity with AWS or other cloud computing technologies
  • Proficiency in basic scripting (PowerShell, etc.) to automate routine tasks and troubleshooting.
  • Microsoft 365 Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $92290 - $156860

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
