We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join this team in the role of Supply Chain Sustainability Manager – EMEA.
In this role, you will:
· Strategy Development: Drive the development of regional sustainability strategies for EMEA aligned with HSBC's business objectives and commitments.
· Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with stakeholders to effectively execute sustainability strategies at both regional and local levels.
· Subject Matter Expertise: Serve as a subject matter expert on ESG providing guidance on industry standards and best practises.
· ESG Engagement: Engage with Global Procurement team as well as local ESG teams and suppliers to ensure adherence to ESG frameworks and practises.
· Performance Monitoring: Monitor and report on sustainability performance metrics ensuring continuous improvement and alignment with regional and global goals.
Requirements
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
· ESG Experienced: Extensive experience in ESG, particularly within the European market.
· Relationship Management: Strong relationship management skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders. Senior leaders engagement.
· Procurement Knowledge: Knowledge of sustainability practises within procurement processes.
· ESG Knowledge: Knowledge of EU regulations such as CSRD, CSDDD.
· Change Leadership: Proven ability to influence and drive change within cross-functional teams.
· Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills to assess sustainability initiatives and their impact on business performance.
