Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate understanding of how areas coordinate and contribute to the achievement of the objectives of the organisation sub-function
  • Guide and persuade team members and communicate complex / sensitive information

  • Support the implementation of quality standards and policies by collaborating across all operational teams and processes
  • Collaboration with Control Owners to develop and manage RCSA to monitor design effectiveness, appropriateness of controls, compliance to regulatory requirements and identify areas for improvement

We are looking for an experienced control professional to join on our Collections Control Execution Team. This role sits within control and governance and will be involved in identifying and reviewing reports regarding our collections and credit card business. You will be responsible for putting together a holistic view of the account and telling the story of what is happening and why the account was flagged. Ultimately, you will be deciding if intent matches execution, based upon the customer's request, experience, and account history. You will be the checkpoint to verify what truly needs escalated and what is a non-issue. This is an exciting chance to join this group as they are in the midst of launching system improvements, giving you the chance to be on the ground floor and influence many of the decisions that will be made.

To be successful in Collections Control Execution, you should have:

  • Ability to follow and maintain direction and standards
  • Collections and credit card experience in the US
  • Control background
  • Reporting experience in Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to present to an audience
  • Resourceful and Self-Sufficient
  • Attention to detail and organized

This role is located in Henderson, NV.

Minimum Salary: $66,625

Maximum Salary: $77,388

The minimum and maximum salary/rate information above include only base salary or base hourly rate. It does not include any another type of compensation or benefits that may be available.

Purpose of the role

To monitor quality standards and policies and support the implementation of these across all operational processes. To collaborate with control owners to execution Risk Control Self Assessments (RSCA) that measure the effectiveness of controls.

Accountabilities

  • Identification of regulatory trends and industry developments that may impact the banks operations.
  • Support the implementation of quality standards and policies by collaborating across all operational teams and processes.
  • Development of reports and presentations on control performance and communicate findings to internal senior stakeholders.
  • Participation in projects and initiatives aimed to improve control efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collaboration with Control Owners to develop and manage RCSA to monitor design effectiveness, appropriateness of controls, compliance to regulatory requirements and identify areas for improvement.
  • Support operational teams with the formal escalation and management of incidents, departmental procedures, record management and controls testing.
