Join us as an Electronic Sales Trading AVP at Barclays where you'll play a crucial role in managing and growing relationships with a diverse portfolio of institutional clients, while leveraging your deep understating of market structure, algorithmic trading strategies, and electronic trading platforms to deliver best-in-class execution capabilities. You will collaborate closely with Sales Traders, Researchers and Technologists to develop and implement innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of our clients. You may be assessed on key critical skills relevant for success in the role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking and digital and technology, as well as job specific technical skills.
To be successful in this role you should have great communication skills, previous experience with equities markets and trading, as well as previous experience with algorithmic trading.
Salary / Rate Minimum: 125,000
Salary / Rate Maximum: 175,000

This role is based in New York.
Purpose of the role
To develop and execute sales strategies to generate new business, maintain and grow relationships with existing clients, and achieve revenue targets.
Accountabilities
- Development and maintenance of relationships with clients, understanding their financial needs and objectives.
- Presentation and pitching of financial products and services to clients, tailored to their requirements.
- Liaison between clients and internal teams, ensuring smooth execution of client requests.
- Stay updated on market trends, financial products, and industry regulations.
- Collaboration with research analysts and other teams to provide clients with insights and market updates.
- Negotiation of terms and agreements with clients to finalise sales transactions.
