Connect to your Industry

Playing an integral and visible role within the firm, the DISCoE team is responsible for supporting some of the firm's key audit clients in relation to monitoring, assessing, and documenting Non-Audit services and business relationships and our assessment on their permissibility under various rulesets including PCAOB/SEC, FRC and IESBA.

The role offers a unique opportunity to work with the client service teams across the firm, providing technical advice and guidance to the business including analysing and interpreting the various independence rules to ensure we maintain the firm's independence policies. You will also be involved in responding to internal and external regulators, monitoring our systems of quality control, and improving the efficiency and effectiveness of our processes.

You will have regular exposure to the most senior levels of the firm's management, including high visibility among the senior partners of the business as well as contacts across Deloitte North South Europe (NSE) and the global Deloitte network (DTTL).

In addition, the role offers many opportunities to work collaboratively with other Risk Management groups across the Central Business Services (CBS) and Quality, Risk & Security (QRS) community, including Firm Independence, Business Relationships, Ethics and Conflicts.

Given the importance of independence and the increased regulatory scope and focus, this role offers exciting opportunities for the right person, whilst also broadening an understanding of auditor independence requirements.
