We are seeking experienced assistant managers to join our Portfolio business working with range of industries including consumer businesses, sports and media, real estate, technology, manufacturing and professional services firms. As a member of our growing team you will have responsibility for:

· Work effectively in an inclusive team culture where people are recognised for their contribution;

· Report to a Manager, Senior Manager or Director/ Partner;

· Supervise our field teams to successfully execute audit engagements;

· Manage customer relationships day to day;

· Mentor and coach junior members of our team;

· Help to drive our continuous improvement in audit methodology and develop new ways of working through innovation and transformation;

· Participate in practice management activities, including facilitation of internal training courses and staff development;

· Engaging with and supporting wellbeing activities within engagement teams and the wider team; and

· Support the development of our practice, potentially through facilitation of internal training courses or staff development.

To qualify for the role you must have:

· Hold or be in the final stages of achieving a relevant professional qualification, e.g. ACA, ACCA, CPA, CA, ICAS or overseas equivalent;

· Experience as an external auditor;

· Previous experience of working with UK GAAP and/ or IFRS;

· Knowledge of external auditing techniques (including risk assessment, audit scoping, devising audit approach, controls testing, substantive testing);

· Strong interpersonal skills, including highly proficient oral and written communication skills, and team management;

· Highly motivated approach, with a proven ability to work on own initiative within a challenging work environment; and

· Good team playing skills with good organisation, planning and coaching skills.
