Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate comprehensive understanding of the organisation functions to contribute to achieving the goals of the business
  • Advise key stakeholders, including functional leadership teams and senior management on functional and cross functional areas of impact and alignment

  • Seek out, build and maintain trusting relationships and partnerships with internal and external stakeholders in order to accomplish key business objectives, using influencing and negotiating skills to achieve outcomes
  • Collaborate with other areas of work, for business aligned support areas to keep up to speed with business activity and the business strategies
  • Adopt and include the outcomes of extensive research in problem solving processes
  • Manage and mitigate risks through assessment, in support of the control and governance agenda
  • Create solutions based on sophisticated analytical thought comparing and selecting complex alternatives
  • Collaboration with research analysts and other teams to provide clients with insights and market updates
  • To develop and execute sales strategies to generate new business, maintain and grow relationships with existing clients, and achieve revenue targets
  • Liaison between clients and internal teams, ensuring smooth execution of client requests
  • Negotiation of terms and agreements with clients to finalise sales transactions
  • Presentation and pitching of financial products and services to clients, tailored to their requirements
  • Stay updated on market trends, financial products, and industry regulations

This is a FINRA regulated role.

Join us as a Securitized Products VP at Barclays where you will play a critical role in leading the strategy, development, and execution for our security products ensuring best-in-class solutions that protect our customers and assets. You will define the vision, strategy for Barclays and collaborate with other stakeholders to deliver innovative security solutions. Market Research, Competitive analysis and customer segmentation are some additional tasks that you're responsible in your role, as a VP Securitized Products.

In order to be successful in this role you should have experience in providing

clients with investment solutions and opportunities with the different fixed

income products we offer as well as previous experience in working with different external stakeholders, such as banks, insurance companies, money managers and hedge funds.

You may be assessed on key critical skills relevant for success in the role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking and digital and technology, as well as job specific technical skills.

Additional relevant skills in working with internal stakeholders such as Securitized Products, Trading, Syndicate, Financing and Banking teams and active FINRA certifications such as SIE, series 7 and 63 are preferred and welcomed.

Salary / Rate Minimum: 155,000

Salary / Rate Maximum: 250,000

The minimum and maximum salary/ rate information above include only base salary or base hourly rate. It does not include any other type of compensation or benefits that may be available.

Purpose of the role
