Be Part of HSBC's Talent Acquisition Transformation

Join HSBC at a pivotal time of change. This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned change professional to play a key role in delivering one of the largest Talent Transformations globally. You will join a forward-thinking HR Strategy & Transformation team, driving innovative, high-impact change initiatives across HSBC's Talent Acquisition team—shaping the future of the organisation. You'll work alongside senior HR leaders and programme teams, shaping and delivering a global programme that spans cutting-edge technology, evolving operating models, and policy change.

At HSBC, we recognise that talent is our greatest competitive advantage, and our Talent Acquisition team is at the forefront of a multi-year global transformation. We are radically reshaping our approach — redefining who we seek, the skills we value, and how we engage with the world.

Candidates will experience a purpose-driven employer brand and a personalised hiring process. Our mission is to connect exceptional talent with our business, ensuring every hire drives impact and secures the critical skills that will shape HSBC's future.

This is a rare opportunity to play a crucial role in HSBC's most ambitious transformation programme. You will be at the forefront of reshaping how HSBC attracts, engages, and retains talent, helping to define the future of our organisation.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead the change management strategy for the Talent Acquisition and Onboarding programme, ensuring the successful delivery of change across global teams.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders to define clear change objectives, scope, and desired outcomes that align with HSBC's strategic goals.
  • Oversee the execution of all change deliverables, including stakeholder analysis, change impact assessments, communications, engagement, and training.
  • Establish a framework to measure the effectiveness of change initiatives, ensuring sustained results.
  • Lead and develop a team of change, communications, and training consultants, guiding them to deliver against the change plan.
  • Coach and advise senior HR and programme leaders on effective change management practices, integrating industry best practices and HSBC's change governance framework.
  • As part of the programme leadership team, provide coaching and guidance to all programme team members, promoting a collaborative and innovative culture.

Requirements

What you will bring to the role:

  • Extensive experience leading change and enablement on major transformation programmes, preferably on a global scale.
  • Expertise in designing and delivering large-scale change management strategies with proven, measurable results.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to produce high-quality deliverables across multiple formats.
  • A recognised change management certification (e.g., PROSCI, CCMP, CMP) and in-depth knowledge of change management methodologies and tools.
  • Experience leading change for HCM system implementations, ideally SAP SuccessFactors, and driving behavioural and operating model changes.
  • A strong track record of working in global organisations, understanding the complexities of diverse cultures, stakeholders, and change needs.
  • A collaborative mindset, able to work hands-on while also providing strategic direction and coaching to your team.
  • Experience within financial services or management consulting is a plus but not essential.

The location for this role is London.

This is more than just a change role. It's an opportunity to shape how we drive and enable change on a global scale, influencing the future of HSBC's talent strategy. You'll be part of a forward-thinking, purpose-driven organisation that values innovation, collaboration, and excellence.

Join us and be part of a team that is not only evolving how we attract and retain talent but is also setting the stage for the future success of HSBC.
