Responsibilities

  • Because this role involves a combination of collaborative/in-person and independent work, it will take the form of a hybrid work format, with time split between working onsite and remotely.
  • Please note that pursuant to a government contract, the specific positions requires US citizenship status.
  • Develop, maintain, and optimize interfaces for AI/ML tools, including large language models and vector databases
  • Collaborate with platform engineering for deployment, cybersecurity, and sustainability
  • Collaborate with data scientists, machine learning engineers, and product teams to design and implement AI-powered solutions
  • Design APIs and microservices to enable interaction with AI/ML tools and databases
  • Work with various programming languages (e.g., Python, java, C++, etc) to develop robust and scalable software solutions
  • Implement best practices in software development, testing, and deployment to ensure high-quality code
  • Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in AI/ML technologies and interface development.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and improve existing systems and interfaces to ensure smooth operation and performance.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving development processes and workflows.

  • Knowledge of on-premises cloud infrastructure technologies, such as OpenStack, VMware, or Azure Stack

  • BS degree in computer science, software engineering, or any related field
  • The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of multiple programming languages, frameworks, and approaches to developing solutions that enhance and optimize the performance of AI systems
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Experience working with AI/ML models, including large language models
  • Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and performance optimization techniques
  • Experience working with AI/ML models, including large language models (LLMs) and vector databases
  • Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
  • Experience with AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar
  • You will be responsible for ensuring high performance, reliability, and seamless integration of these systems
  • We are looking for a software engineering with a strong background in building interfaces and integrating AI/ML tools, including large language models and vector databases
  • Strong understanding of software development best practices, including testing, version control, and CI/CD pipelines
  • Understanding of natural language processing (NLP) and working with LLM APIs like Hugging Face, LLAMA, Mistral

We are looking for a software engineering with a strong background in building interfaces and integrating AI/ML tools, including large language models and vector databases. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of multiple programming languages, frameworks, and approaches to developing solutions that enhance and optimize the performance of AI systems.

As a software engineer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain scalable interfaces that facilitate interactions between AI tools and user-facing applications. You will be responsible for ensuring high performance, reliability, and seamless integration of these systems.

Key responsibilities:

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

  • BS degree in computer science, software engineering, or any related field
  • Minimum of 4-years experience in software development, with a focus on building interfaces for AI/ML tools
  • Proficiency in at least 2 or more programming languages (e.g., python, java, C++, etc)
  • Experience working with AI/ML models, including large language models (LLMs) and vector databases
  • Familiarity with API development and microservices architecture
  • Strong understanding of software development best practices, including testing, version control, and CI/CD pipelines,
  • Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Must be able to obtain a US Secret Clearance

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Experience with AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $92290 - $156860

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
