Company

For over 100 years, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars has pushed the boundaries of luxury, creating new realities both within and beyond automotive design.

We pride ourselves on our pursuit of perfection, innovation, and excellence in manufacturing. Our quest for perfection is a culture, an attitude, and our guiding philosophy. Indeed, it is our founding father Sir Henry Royce who said, ‘strive for perfection in everything you do'.

The launch of our first ever fully electric, Spectre was prophesised by our co-founder Charles Rolls. In 1900 he foresaw the creation of a clean, noiseless alternative to the internal combustion engine – providing there was the infrastructure to support it.

Spectre is not only a historic moment for our business but also electrification. Spectre confirms that technology has reached a standard that can contain the Rolls-Royce experience. This means that by the end of 2030 our entire product portfolio will be fully electric.

What makes us different

Our heritage and our employees. Our origins are deeply rooted in a quest for perfection in all that we do. Our employees are innovative, passionate and have a sharp eye for detail. They are effective in teamwork, communication, and work hard to help us push the boundaries of what is possible.

Rolls-Royce Motor Cars is also part of the BMW Group which has an employee population of 120,000 across 140 different countries worldwide

Our brands BMW, MINI, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars and BMW Motorrad have made us the world's leading premium manufacturer of cars and motorcycles as well as provider of premium financial and mobility services.

There is therefore the opportunity to develop and grow within Rolls-Royce Motor Cars as well as brands within the group worldwide.

Sustainability

Our sustainability targets stretch beyond our commitment to go fully electric by 2030. Our home and the site on which our cars are made is a pioneering champion of wildlife and biodiversity conservation:

  • The eight-acre curved living roof is the largest in the UK.
  • Across the 42-acre site we've established over 400,000 plants and trees of more than 120 species.
  • The building is made from sustainable materials and timber louvre panels control the light that enters the site to reduce the demand for electricity.
  • Over 60% of our waste is recycled and we compost green waste.
  • We have created a Wildlife Garden and Corridor as well as an Apiary with a colony of 250,000 European Bees.

The BMW Group's concrete goals are focused on reducing CO₂ emissions (40% by 2030), increasing resource efficiency and substantially improving social and environmental standards.
