Responsibilities

  • Intelligence & Security (I&S), based in McLean, Virginia, designs and delivers advanced defense, intelligence, and security solutions that support the important missions of our customers

  • Obtain softcopy, and commercial imagery-related products in response to customer needs
  • Utilizes available imagery, multi-INT, and other source customer data stores to exploit, identify, monitor, and analyze existing and emerging trends, dynamic events, and solve intelligence problems
  • Utilizes the full suite of imagery analysis tools and utilized geospatial information systems as necessary
  • Completed an Imagery analysis curriculum through the Military or the Intelligence Community
  • Perform imagery research and analysis by researching current and historical softcopy imagery, which may include researching appropriate databases for amplifying information and producing standard imagery analysis products

Contract

40 hours per week

Candidate requirements

  • Experience using, creating, updating, and maintaining geodatabases
  • Experience with Structured Observation Management Tools
  • Demonstrated experience collaborating with national and service intelligence agencies/centers
  • The ideal candidate will possess an understanding of underground facilities and geospatial techniques, producing finished imagery-derived intelligence products, reports and assessments
  • Demonstrated good oral and written communications skills with an ability to present and discuss technical and procedural aspects of imagery software
  • Basic knowledge of Intel Community and DOD reporting, and demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with the Intelligence and Defense Communities
  • Basic knowledge of overhead, air breather, and civil/commercial sensors providing hardcopy and softcopy imagery and associated digital data for imagery, spectral, and SAR data
  • Knowledge in the tasking of overhead intelligence collection systems
  • Demonstrated ability with spatial and temporal analysis of OSINT, HUMINT, and SIGINT reporting for characterization of GEOINT analysis

Job Description

BAE Systems is looking for talented Senior Imagery Analysts excited to provide vital analysis in support of the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency mission. The candidates shall provide imagery analysis services as described below.

Perform imagery research and analysis by researching current and historical softcopy imagery, which may include researching appropriate databases for amplifying information and producing standard imagery analysis products. Obtain softcopy, and commercial imagery-related products in response to customer needs. Utilizes available imagery, multi-INT, and other source customer data stores to exploit, identify, monitor, and analyze existing and emerging trends, dynamic events, and solve intelligence problems. Utilizes the full suite of imagery analysis tools and utilized geospatial information systems as necessary. The ideal candidate will possess an understanding of underground facilities and geospatial techniques, producing finished imagery-derived intelligence products, reports and assessments. This effort will require regular collaboration with imagery and geospatial analysts.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

Required education and experience:

  • Working knowledge of systems and software programs such as: RemoteView, Socet GXP, ERDAS Imagine, and ArcGIS, DIEE, and CGSWeb
  • 3 years of intelligence analysis experience in the Intelligence Community or military commands at the national and tactical levels
  • 1-3 years' experience in both commercial and government imagery and mapping software
  • Basic knowledge of Intel Community and DOD reporting, and demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with the Intelligence and Defense Communities
  • Demonstrated good oral and written communications skills with an ability to present and discuss technical and procedural aspects of imagery software
  • Completed an Imagery analysis curriculum through the Military or the Intelligence Community
  • Demonstrated experience collaborating with national and service intelligence agencies/centers
  • Knowledge in the tasking of overhead intelligence collection systems
  • Knowledge of the following systems and software programs: Intelink, SAFE and/or M3, RemoteView, CEDALION, and IEC
  • Demonstrated ability with spatial and temporal analysis of OSINT, HUMINT, and SIGINT reporting for characterization of GEOINT analysis
  • Basic knowledge of overhead, air breather, and civil/commercial sensors providing hardcopy and softcopy imagery and associated digital data for imagery, spectral, and SAR data​

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Working with multi-INT information
  • Experience with Structured Observation Management Tools.
  • Experience using, creating, updating, and maintaining geodatabases.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $68700 - $116800

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
