Responsibilities

  • Intelligence & Security (I&S), based in McLean, Virginia, designs and delivers advanced defense, intelligence, and security solutions that support the important missions of our customers
  • Assisting in policy planning, workflow procedures testing and evaluation
  • Analytic workflow redesign, and training and development
  • Working with management to prescribe workflow modifications that improve worker productivity and analytic judgement

Contract

40 hours per week

Job Description

Join BAE Systems as a Policy Analyst and contribute to improving decision-making processes in a dynamic and classified environment supporting our government customer in Reston, VA and Patrick Space Force Base, FL.

This analyst will be working in a classified environment and will understand and improve the judgement and decision making of individuals, groups, and organizations, apply principles of psychology to business, analytic, and other decision-making processes to improve and/or empirically evaluate those processes.

Other activities may include:

  • Assisting in policy planning, workflow procedures testing and evaluation
  • Analytic workflow redesign, and training and development
  • Working with management to prescribe workflow modifications that improve worker productivity and analytic judgement.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Mid-level: Bachelor's degree in a related business area with 8+ years of policy analysis experience with related experience within the last 2 years, or 10+ years of experience
  • Senior: Master's degree in a related business area with 12+ years of policy analysis experience with related experience within the last 2 years, or a Bachelor's degree with 17+ years of experience
  • Expert: Master's degree in a related business area with 20+ years of policy analysis experience with related experience within the last 2 years
  • Knowledgeable of and demonstrates ability to apply IC and DoD classification guidelines and procedures.
  • Prior military or government analytical experience

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Graduate of Government OSINT Training courses (e.g., U.S. Army OBC, OS301/OS302, CASO, defense or IC equivalent (DIA BOTC, FBI OS101).
  • Experience conducting intelligence analytical support for the IC/DoD

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $64130 - $109010

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
