Install, troubleshoot, inspect, repair, and maintain shop equipment including pumps, hydraulic systems and controls, pneumatic systems, controls and instrumentation, lathes, boring machines, saws, milling machines, and similar plant machinery and equipment

• Maintain preventative and corrective maintenance files and identify repair parts

• Disassembly and assembly of shop machinery and other equipment as directed

• Refuel generators, forklifts, trucks, and high reach equipment

• Other responsibilities include various shop work using metalworking tools such as a lathe, mill, drill press, hydraulic press, and welding

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

• High school diploma or GED and a minimum of 2 years' rolling stock equipment maintenance experience

• Minimum of three years of Industrial Maintenance experience

• Demonstrate proficiency with the use of precision measurement tools

• Able to use a variety of hand tools and power hand tools

• Able to demonstrate knowledge of machine shop equipment including repair and maintenance

• Willing to work varying shifts

• Knowledge of machine shop equipment including repair and maintenance

• Self-motivated and able to work independently with only general supervision

• Able to obtain and maintain DBIDS access

• Must be physically capable of performing essential functions of the position.

• Must be able to work at heights, in confined spaces and have the ability to climb staircases and ladders of varying sizes.

• Must be able to reach up to 50 inches, lift 30 pounds, and apply

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $57720 - $88483

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
