Responsibilities

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprint drawings.
  • Interpret Engineering / Design plan requirements to develop detailed work instructions.
  • Determine manufacturing process steps required to attain optimal workflow through all machining, assembly, welding, and quality control work center operations.
  • Develop document templates to standardize policies, Work Instructions, and other document formats. Ensure document content includes compliance requirements, best practices, and procedural instructions for a wide variety of production operations activities.
  • Develop a master schedule overseeing the workflow of the production and fabrication efforts.
  • Monitor program schedule performance, track plans and schedules, perform schedule risk analyses, identify, and resolve critical path and network logic conflicts.
  • Ability to understand and translate site capabilities.
  • Establish sequence and lead time of each operation to meet completion dates according to production forecasts or customer work specifications and drawing orders.
  • Maintain and perform validation of project schedule configurations to meet industry standards for quality health check requirements for status and reporting.
  • Monitor production performance to the master production schedule.
  • Organize and meet with production personnel and subcontractors to gather status and review impact to key milestones and events.
  • Develop, maintain and drive KPIs around the master production schedule such as schedule attainment and capacity utilization.
  • Monitor production capacity and identify potential bottlenecks or constraints, collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement solutions.
  • Analyze and address production issues in a timely manner.
  • Escalate Long Lead Time Material issues and assist with developing appropriate corrective actions.
  • Prepare weekly deliverables for assigned projects.
  • Create “what if” scheduling scenarios based on potential new and growth work.
  • Ensure that requirements of the safety handbook are properly followed and enforced.

Senior Fabrication Planner to support our growing team in the company's expanding field of fabrication. The candidate will be responsible for generating detailed methods for fabricating and assembly processes, as well as establishing full scope work packet and span time estimates. This role is critical in supporting the product line by developing detailed manufacturing schedules and ensuring compliance with quality standards. The candidate will take the lead to plan, track, analyze and report on project schedules of varying size and complexity. The Senior Fabrication Planner will provide key support to project and program management efforts, monitoring workflow, coordinating, and tracking schedule, and identifying key project delivery risks and issues. The selected candidate will develop schedules to meet requirements in support of Customer Contracts. The candidate will interact daily with program management team members (Project Managers, Program Managers, Craft Managers, Safety, and Quality Dept.), and employees.

  • Must have strong Microsoft Excel skills.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $71600 - $121700

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
