Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership for new business development, capture strategies, and proposals.
  • Actively promote a culture of diversity, safety, health, and personal well-being for the program team.
  • Review status of projects and budgets, manage schedules, and prepare status reports.
  • Assess issues and develop solutions to meet productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction objectives.
  • Lead briefings and high-level meetings.
  • Take responsibility for all aspects of program initiation, planning and execution (cost, schedule, technical performance, quality, customer engagement, etc.) and ensuring program commitments are met.
  • Be accountable to the Business for program execution, profitability, timeliness, and overall program success.
  • Lead and participate in the creation of new business strategies and in the development of strategic and financial plans.
  • Prepare project execution plan and identify technical and business resources needed.
  • Provide technical and analytical guidance to project team.
  • Interact frequently with senior-level executives and customers concerning projects, operational decisions, contracts, and strategies.
  • Utilize in-depth knowledge of DoD acquisition contracting approaches and practices
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills both internally and externally

Our team is looking for an experienced project manager with our Resilient Ground Systems Product Area. You can help our teams solve some of the most complex technical Space Warfighting and Intelligence challenges – all while growing your own career.

In this job, you will:

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Experience in supporting development programs with part and supplier selection
  • Communicate effectively both orally and in writing with customers, partners, and team members
  • Possess interpersonal skills involving coordinating and negotiating with customers and suppliers
  • Be able to make decisions using sound judgment while complying with policies, procedures, appropriate principles and applicable state and federal laws and regulations
  • Ability to develop and implement effective program/project plans specifying goals, staffing, scheduling, identification of risks, contingency plans, and allocation of available resources
  • Ability to influence across functional boundaries and communicate well with different teams
  • Be able to lead team building and coaching for employee success
  • Ability to maintain a DoD Top Secret / SCI clearance

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree and 10+ years of related experience

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $140690 - $239140

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
