  • Originate, shape and transact large, complex sales opportunities aligning Accenture's value proposition to clients' strategic ambitions
  • Lead opportunities from sales pursuit to close, including leading commercial negotiations
  • Robust qualification of opportunities to focus on those we are best positioned to win
  • Lead and manage sales end to end, including solution/proposition development, commercials proposition, client interactions and all aspects of the win strategy to beat the competition
  • Manage and coach other Sales Captures or Bid Managers
  • Develop trusted relationships with key buyers and decision-makers at new and/or existing clients.

As a team:

People in the Sales career track grow pipeline and sales by leading origination and/or closing of sales opportunities in a specific area or across a range of Accenture offerings. They progress by deepening sales skills and/or developing new related skills, growing into more complex sales roles.

The Financial Services (FS) UKIA Sales Team is responsible for originating, selling, and closing complex contracts typically >$10m in value. It is a dynamic team made up of Sales Captures who lead opportunities that often combine the full breadth of Accenture service offerings. We work with most of the major clients across the FS Sector , as well as working with new players in the industry. This is an exciting and vibrant team who bring to bear the best of sales at Accenture within a team environment that positively encourages growth and promotion.

  • Experience of selling into the FS sector, or if not, a passion for the sector and knowledge of key market trends.

  • Track record of long-standing, trusted relationships with senior clients

  • Orchestrating complex, multi tower opportunities across consulting, technology and operations
  • Proven ability to successfully lead large, cross functional and diverse teams
  • Team player with passion for coaching and developing next generation of sales talent
  • Proven ability to successfully manage more junior sales team
