Responsibilities

  • Drive safety culture focused on exposure reduction
  • Ensure consistent availability of Quality Material On-Time to support production demands.
  • Own and Maintain Lineside Inventory planning and inventory accuracy
  • Provide forward-looking visibility to material challenges and risk to key internal stakeholders, through partnership with Supply Chain
  • Supervise MCS' for 2nd Shift on the assigned Value Stream (and Planners/MPCs if applicable), as well as MCS' from one assigned support category (Big Move, IST, or Kitting)
  • Perform Material Planning and work order / demand management in lieu of shift planning support
  • Support closure of work orders and accurate consumption
  • Report and drive improvement across standard KPI's for line replenishment, material transactions, and material planning.
  • Provide single POC for Production for shift material escalations, driving adequate hand-off to other shifts, and ensuring exceptions are handled expeditiously.
  • Coordinate cross-value stream resource planning with other Material managers as required.
  • 2nd shift hours are 2-11pm

Job Description

The Material Value Stream Manager will be responsible for material planning and production fulfillment on 2nd Shift for the assigned value stream.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive safety culture focused on exposure reduction
  • Supervise MCS' for 2nd Shift on the assigned Value Stream (and Planners/MPCs if applicable), as well as MCS' from one assigned support category (Big Move, IST, or Kitting)

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree and 6 years of experience
  • Understanding of key concepts in material planning / replenishment
  • Materials/Production experience
  • People management experience

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $71600 - $121700

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
