Responsibilities

  • Provide guidance to the business on commercial issues and internal governance throughout the contract lifecycle
  • Identifying commercial risks and opportunities, devising appropriate mitigations including seeking, presenting and obtaining relevant approvals
  • UK/overseas travel as required
  • Provide guidance to and support the development of individuals in more junior roles
  • Collaborate with the project team, proactively engaging other functions to enhance the commercial solution
  • Play a major role in winning new business and managing projects, drafting and negotiating moderately complex proposals, terms & conditions, agreements and changes

Contract

40 hours per week

What you'll be doing:

Your skills and experiences:

Essential:

  • Contracts experience across various types of contracts and agreements
  • Negotiating and influencing experience
  • Business acumen and financial awareness
  • Experience in building and maintaining strong relationships, both internally and externally
  • An ability to work as part of a team or independently with little supervision and guidance and using their own experience, judgement and initiative
  • Track record of inclusive team skills as both a team leader and team member
  • Degree level qualification in a business-related subject, or equivalent experience
